Machine Demonstration:
The SY-1210TGUR features an integrated tilting drill head with +/-100 degrees of rotation. Also, a 1,000 RPM programmable spindle, 30 position electrode changer, and 12 position guide changer. The machine will be simulating EDM drilling on a 36” diameter aerospace ring using 600mm electrodes. The drill has six-coordinate systems that allow up to six individual jobs to be programmed and run consecutively in a single setup. It also has multi-tasking abilities that allow you to edit one program while the machine is running another. A maximum work piece weight of 5,500 lbs. along with our multiple electrode and guide changer options makes this drill perfect for large tools, aerospace, power generation, and production applications.

The pressure setting for the high pressure flush through the electrode is programmed with a G-code in the part program.
